Emergency Preparedness & Response
BCFS is an emergency management partner to governments across the nation, assisting with preparedness, response and recovery efforts. As a national leader in emergency management, the organization has been called on by state and local governments to provide incident management, sheltering operations, and emergency response training for communities affected by natural disasters and other emergencies.

Medical Services
BCFS’ mobile medical clinics and services care for communities on a daily basis as well as when disasters strike. BCFS provides perinatal care for expecting moms and healthy check ups to children living in United States colonias, and teaches parents how to create healthy homes to raise their children. Medical teams also provide screenings and diagnostic services for adults and children.

International Services
BCFS’ overseas division, Children’s Emergency Relief International (CERI), leads programs throughout Latin America, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia and Africa that care for children and families in crisis. CERI has routinely been tapped by governments for emergency relief, counseling and policy advising that makes a profound difference in the social structure of foreign countries. |

Youth & Teens
BCFS fills a critical void for teens aging out of the foster care system, juvenile offenders reintegrating into their community, and other at-risk youth by teaching youth the basic life skills they need to become successful and productive adults. BCFS' stateside program has been carried forth into Eastern Europe, teaching youth aging out of orphanages the skills they need to survive as adults and avoid falling victim to human trafficking.

Children & Families
BCFS has been a leading foster care and adoption agency for more than 65 years. At the request of governments around the world, the organization has established health and human service programs that care for abused and neglected children, unite new or struggling families, and help those in need.

Juvenile Justice
BCFS’ intensive intervention program aims to deter juveniles' patterns of troubled behavior. Juveniles with multiple offenses who are at risk of institutionalization are referred to BCFS’ program by their probation officers. Other services reach youth who are returning home from juvenile justice institutions to ensure they best transition back into their communities.

Community Development
BCFS’ inner-city programs encourage at-risk youth to succeed in school and take part in positive initiatives that help them rise out of poverty into prosperity. Collaborative efforts and local universities help BCFS make a profound difference in the communities we serve.

Care for People with Disabilities
BCFS’ faith-based residential community for adults with developmental and cognitive disabilities, Breckenridge Village of Tyler (BVT), empowers residents to live fulfilling lives where they can develop their artistic talents, build friendships, and give back to their community.
